We have mentioned this in a post before that social media is the place your customers can vent out what they feel about you. The good, bad and ugly. What can you do about it, learn! Remember that all that they say is going to help you build a better brand. Respond to them. Let your potential customers know that even if your brand may have faults currently you are working on it. It will build a good reputation for your brand. Not just this, do not forget to thank your well-wishers.

 

  1. Tell, Don’t Sell

Do not sell your products. Tell your viewers stories about your product. Your company. Let them know how your motive is genuine. Let your viewers talk about their stories. Create conversation instead of talking about your products. If yours is a business-to-business company, tell a story on social media using webinars, e-books, and white papers.

 

 

  1. Just Be You

Your customers are going to be business with you. Be authentic and let them know that you are vulnerable. That you want them to be your customers.  Also be honest about your product or services. Let them know you.

 

  1. Advertise (Better)

Here we come to the first point we mentioned. Pay. Instead of just putting out your content in front of a large crowd, target the right people based on job title, interest, age, location. There is another very interesting feature of Facebook advertising. You can target ‘friends’ of people who currently like your brand on Facebook. And when those people see your ad, they will see listed the names of their friends who like your brand, too.

 

  1. Give Stuff Away

These are one of the most popular and best ways of generating engagement on social media. Create competitions.   Also, give away good content, webinars, articles, and white papers.

 

  1. Be Grateful

In your social media posts, regularly thank your customers and partners. Not only does it make them happy, it puts you in a great mood.
